01/ Background

Under the initiative of the Dubai Municipality, Dubai Zoo was revamped as the Dubai Safari Park, a spectacular shelter for a wide range of animals from all over the world. The newly opened park expanded to 12.8 million square feet of area with 5 key areas within the park – Safari village, Arabian Village, Asian Village, African Village, and Wadi Village.

GTECH was appointed to revamp the website Dubai Safari Park using the new brand guidelines.

Responsive UI design

The website was designed to provide a fluid experience for a diverse array of desktop and mobile devices.

Drupal Based CMS

Dubai Safari website has been built on Drupal, which is known for its substantial security as well as providing clients the ease to update content and images on the go.

Dedicated Segments for Key Area

With the introduction of themes within the park, the website has a designated section for each key area. These sections highlight the various shows and experiences that occur in the park throughout the day.

Hassle-free ticketing journey

The website has been designed to allow users to effortlessly book tickets and packages available at the park. The website has been integrated with VGS ticketing system, to manage all tickets and packages.

Picturesque gallery of animals

Due to the high volume of animals available in the park, one of the main criteria of the website was to allow users to effectively search for their favorite animals.

Newsletter subscriptions

Users can opt to subscribe to the newsletter to keep themselves up to date with the latest experiences at the park.

SEO optimization

Use of secure plugins to help provide a better SEO reach for DSP to its customers.
