The emergence of COVID-19 has completely changed lives globally and has also impacted the events business.
With everyone staying home during the COVID-19 situation, Flash Flash Entertainment was looking to partner with a digital agency to setup their live streaming infrastructure and host a live concert to celebrate Eid – uniting music fans across the GCC with the free socially distant virtual concert.
The event was hosted by presenter Kris Fade and featured performances from UAE’s homegrown stars to suit every music taste. The local star-studded lineup included Esquire Middle East ‘Music Artist of the Year’ winner Layla Kardan, Yasalam Emerging Talent Competition winners FAFA and Danny Aridi, singer Moh Flow, Emirati soul sensation Abri and rapper Freek.
We are very happy to have been part of the team that developed and hosted one of the first virtual-concerts in the region and here is our case study.
An event microsite with where fans can mark the date to calendar, read more about the event, view artist bios, share with friends and stream the concert once it goes live.
The concert would be pre-recorded and then live streamed across the event microsite, YouTube & Facebook.
The event was streamed on the Flash website and simulcasted on Youtube, Twitter and Facebook through a custom built, proprietary mix of hardware and software.
The event was streamed on the Flash website and simulcasted.
